Russian crude exports rose 4.9% to 5.55 million barrels a day in the first half of the year from the same period in 2015, according to data from the Russian Energy Ministry.
Export is on track to set a record this year, Bloomberg reports.
Russia’s output in June climbed 1.14% from a year earlier to 10.843 million barrels a day, with increases every month since July 2014.
Russia's oil exports increased by 5.9% in January-June 2016 to 127.8 million tons, compared to the same period last year. Russia raised its oil production by 2.1% to 269.8 million tonnes in the first half of this year, compared with the same period last year.
