Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov held a meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev at the International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM-2019 in Yekaterinburg.
The Russian Minister of Industry and Trade noted that in January-March 2019, the Russian-Azerbaijani trade increased by 10% compared to last year and amounted to $561 million.
Manturov said that exports from Azerbaijan to Russia in January-March this year increased significantly by 20% and amounted to $150 million, adding that imports increased by 7.3% and amounted to $412 million. Manturov noted that during the previous meeting in April 2019, the parties discussed deliveries of agricultural products to Russia.
Shahin Mustafayev. in turn, underlined the importance the exhibition for developing regional cooperation. In his words, only joint efforts may bring high results.
