Russia's Summa group to appeal co-owner's detention

Russia’s Summa group said on Saturday it plans to appeal a court decision to hold co-owner Ziyavudin Magomedov in pre-trial detention after he was charged with embezzlement, which he denies, Reuters reports.

A Summa group spokesman said the company “does not agree with the court decision, is poised to appeal it and is ready to cooperate with the investigation.”
