Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin and Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei held a meeting in Moscow yesterday.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations, as well as international and regional developments, particularly in the Middle East, including Syria and Yemen.
Sanaei and Vershinin also stressed the need to continue Iran-Russia consultations on the events in the Middle East and North Africa, IRNA reported.
