 Russia to begin compulsory fingerprinting for foreigners

Russia is set to introduce mandatory fingerprinting for all foreign nationals entering the country, the Russian Interior Ministry said.

The issue will be discussed by the Interior and Foreign Ministries with representatives from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the First Deputy Interior Minister Alexander Gorovoy said.

Officials hope that the plans will be implemented at Moscow airports since early 2017, the Moscow Times reports.
