Russian taekwondo martial artist Alexey Denisenko won silver in men’s 68kg category at the Rio Olymics.
Aleksey Denisenko lost 6-10 against Jordan’s Ahmad Abu Goush in the final. Bronze went to South Korea’s Lee Dae-hoon and Spain’s Joel Gonzalez, Sputnik reports.
Denisenko’s silver is Russia’s 44th medal at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Russia currently has 12 gold medals, 15 silvers and 17 bronzes.
