Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Pavel Baryshev, Deputy Head of EMERCOM of Russia, who had held this post since February 2, 2017. The reasons for the decision are not specified.
The corresponding decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
"To remove Colonel-General Pavel Fedorovich Baryshev from the post of Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters," the presidential decree reads.
It is clarified that the decree comes into force on May 1.
