The exact timing of when the EEU states will adopt the Unified Customs Code is not yet known, the head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Andrei Belyaninov, said.
"There are a lot of differences. There was a desire to complete the work by the end of 2015, but we haven't managed it yet. I cannot tell the exact timing of it. We are active participants in this negotiating process. There are just too many divergences, it's nobody's fault, I guess," RIA Novosti cited Belianinov as saying.
Recall that it was Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvevdev who stated that the EEU Customs Code must be adopted before the end of 2015.
