In 2018, the Ministry of Transport of Russia will submit proposals for discounts in the Platon toll system for trucks in proportion to the fuel mileage, the head of the department, Maxim Sokolov, told reporters today.
"Next year, when tariffs for the Platon system to be determined taking into account indexation and other solutions, a definite discount will be offered for those heavy trucks with big fuel mileage,” the minister explained.
