The press secretary of the Russian Alcohol Regulatory Board, Alexander Kulikov, reported today that a deficit of alcoholic production and mass closure of retail outlets will not happen, because the cost of connection of Russian catering companies to the system USAIS (Unified State Automated Information System) won't be too high, and will amount to about 20 thousand rubles.
According to Kulikov, the main task that confronts business is the registration in USAIS before January 1st, 2016.
After that, even if the organization will not send data on purchases of alcohol due to some errors, it will not be punished by anyone for a period of experimental and industrial exploitation of the system (from January to March).
The draft resolution has been prepared by the government, it will be signed before the end of this year.
