Russian junior gymnasts Ekaterina Gridina, Damir Manafov, Alexandra Merkulova, Ksenia Stefu, and Anastasia Vakhonina won the set of gold medals in group exercises at European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships in Baku. They got 20.05 points.
Italy took the second place with 19.6 points.
Hungarian gymnasts won bronze medals. They got 19.6 points.
The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku welcomes FIG European Aerobic Gymnastics Championships for the first time. Athletes from 22 countries participate in the tournament. Juniors and seniors perform in individual exercises among men and women, mixed pairs, trio and groups, aerodance, as well as aerostep – only for seniors. There will also be winners in junior and senior team ratings. Athletes will compete for 15 sets of medals.
