Russian military serviceman’s car set on fire in Gyumri

An unusual incident occurred Friday in Gyumri, Armenia.

At around 12:50pm, Russian citizen Magamed Magomedov, 38, a resident of the military district of Gyumri, informed the police that his car, which was parked outside the building where he lives, had been set on fire at night, News.am reports.

According to shamshyan.com, Magomedov told the police that he had suffered close to 3 million drams (approx. US$6,174) in damages as a result of this fire.

As per the source, he serves at the Russian military base in Armenia, as deputy director of its military hospital.

Police are preparing a report on this incident.
