A deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Yevgeny Fedorov, has sent an appeal to Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, which proposes denouncing the agreement between Russia and Ukraine on the Russian-Ukrainian border, Izvestia reports.
According to the MP, it is necessary to exclude the possibility of legal conflict, because according to visual applications under Article 2 of the document, signed in 2003 and ratified by Russia in 2004, Crimea is defined as a territory of Ukraine.
"The decision on the reunification of Crimea has been taken and implemented, so now we need to put in order the international treaties in accordance with the adopted decision at the constitutional level. They should be revised. The agreement on the state border between Russia and Ukraine cannot exist in the current form and should be denounced," Gazeta.ru cited Fedorov as saying.
