A Russian Air Force plane violated Turkey’s airspace in the Yayladagi district of Hatay Province on October 3rd, Turkey’s Foreign Ministry said.
"A Russian aircraft exited Turkish airspace into Syria after it was intercepted by two F-16s from the Turkish Air Force, which were conducting patrols in the region," TASS cited a representative of the Ministry as saying.
The Russian ambassador to Ankara was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Turkey for a strong protest.
