Russian synchronized swimmers win Olympic gold in Rio

Russian synchronized swimmers have won the group competitions in synchronized swimming at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. It is the 13th Russian gold medal at the Olymics overall.

Upon completion of two programs Natalia Ishchenko, Svetlana Kolesnichenko, Alexandra Paskevich, Elena Prokofieva, Svetlana Romashina, Yelena Topilina, Alla Shishkina, Maria Shurochkina and Vlada Chigireva received 196.1439 points.
