Russia’s alleged U.S. election interference, cyber attacks, Navalny case to be probed

U.S. President Joe Biden has instructed the intelligence community to conduct a "full assessment" of Russia’s alleged interference into the 2020 elections, a large-scale cyber attack on US government agencies and the incident involving Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told a briefing.

"Even as we work with Russia to advance U.S. interests, so do we work to hold Russia to account for its reckless and adversarial actions," TASS cited her as saying.

"And to this end, the president is also issuing a task to the Intelligence Community for its full assessment of the SolarWinds cyber breach, Russian interference in the 2020 election, its use of chemical weapons against opposition leader Alexey Navalny and the alleged bounties on US soldiers in Afghanistan," Psaki noted.
