The Standard & Poor's Global Ratings has left Russia's long-term foreign currency rating at “BBB-”, that is, at the bottom of the investment level. The relevant information was published in the agency’s press-release.
Long-term rating in national currency is kept at "BBB". The outlook on long-term ratings is stable.
S&P expects the new government to maintain continuity in macroeconomic policies and compliance with conservative fiscal rule, even despite the growth of expenses. It is expected that in 2020 economic growth will intensify, but will remain low in the long term perspective.
