Kazakhstan has invited the SCO observer mission to monitor the parliamentary elections, which will be held in the country on March 20.
Kazakh Ambassador to China, Shakhrat Nuryshev, met with the Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Rashid Alimov, to discuss the state and prospects of cooperation within the SCO, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan said.
"Nuryshev also invited SCO observers to participate in the process of monitoring of the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan on March 20, 2016," RIA Novosti cited the message as saying.
