The blockade of Crimea should be carried out at the official level, not by social organizations or individual activists, the Governor of the Odessa region Mikheil Saakashvili told Espresso TV.
He said that it is necessary to carry out the blockade by "official state formation" and not by "a part of society with a weapon."
The former Georgian President noted that such formations may want to come to power after that. They could think that "they are the power themselves," he explained.
"The government should not give anyone a monopoly on the use of force," RIA Novosti cited Saakashvili as saying.
