Saakashvili donates blood to check nationality

The former Georgian president and former governor of the Odessa region, Mikhail Saakashvili, said that there is not a “drop of non-Georgian blood” in him.

“I don’t have a drop of non-Georgian blood in me. Once, I got curious, and I passed a very popular genetic test in America,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

“I turned out to be almost 99% Georgian,” he said, adding that one percent of “Greek blood” also flows in his veins.
