Inhabitants of Odessa will see new patrol police on the streets of the city in August. This was announced by the new head of the Odessa regional administration Mikheil Saakashvili.
"In Odessa in mid-August there will be new patrol police. On Tuesday the new head of the Department of Internal Affairs will be presented,’’ TASS quotes the former president of Georgia.
Saakashvili said that employees of the local police have previously participated in common raider attacks and drug trafficking.
