Salaries of Syrian military personnel increased

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad issued two decrees on raising the salaries of military personnel and the pensions of retired military personnel.

Legislative decree no. 8 for 2018 stipulates for raising the salaries of military personnel by 30% of the total salary after adding compensation to the fixed sum, with the raise becoming part of it.

Legislative decree no. 9 for 2018 stipulates for raising the pensions of retired military personnel by 20% of the total pension, with the raising becoming part of it, and the compensation is added to the pension after calculating the new raise, SANA reported.
