Former Acting US Attorney General Sally Yates refused to answer the question about any reflection of collusion between members of the Trump campaign and Moscow.
"My answer to that question would require me to reveal classified information. And so, I can't answer that," Yates told Republican Senator Lindsey Graham during the hearing.
Yates testified at a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing that focused primarily on Flynn, and did not shed much light on other aspects of investigations of allegations that Russia meddled in the 2016 U.S. election and whether there was collusion between President Donald Trump's campaign and Moscow, Reuters reported.
Trump fired Yates after she defied the White House on the travel ban, a policy that Trump said would help protect Americans from Islamist militants.
