Iran is interested in the presence of Russian energy companies on its market, and certain agreements are expected to be signed soon, the Iranian Ambassador in Moscow Mehdi Sanai said.
"Iran is very much interested in the presence of Russian companies in Iran. Several companies have visited Iran repeatedly, signed memorandums of understanding," Sanai told Rossiya 24 television channel.
He in particular named LUKoil, Rosneft, Tatneft, Zarubezhneft and Gazprom.
"Many of them signed documents, some will be signed soon," Sputnik cited Sanai as saying.
