Russia’s national top lender Sberbank has no plans to expand its international presence, Sberbank CEO German Gref said.
"We have no international expansion plans," he said.
The CEO of Sberbank added that Sberbank plans to close the sale of its Turkish subsidiary Denizbank to the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Emirates NBD until the end of July.
"Let’s hope that the deal could be closed this month. We have everything for it, we will see how the situation develops," the Prime news agency cited Gref as saying.
