The special headquarters has decided to expand the area of search and rescue operations and to attract additional forces and equipment.
Currently the search is being conducted around the oil maritime borders of the neighboring countries. Work on extinguishing the fire on the platform is also continuing, Trend reports.
The accident at the Guneshli field occurred on the evening of December 4th. Thirty-three oilmen were rescued from the burning platform, seven people were killed, the fate of another twenty-three remains unknown.
