Secret coordination center created on Syrian-Turkish border

The US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) have created a secret coordination center close to the Syrian border, an article published on the website of the American newspaper The Washington Post said.

"Turkey is deepening its cooperation with theCIA and other US intelligence agencies. The CIA and the MIT are ensuring the work of the secret focal point, which is located near the Syrian border," the newspaper notes.

The security services use this center to identify potential terrorists among the refugees from the Middle East. But, as the newspaper writes, "the CIA also launches its drones from the Turkish military base of Incirlik," TASS reports.

CIA Director John Brennan has made repeated trips to Ankara, including in January, for meetings on counterterrorism operations
