Prices for the WTI crude oil brand in the US dropped to their lowest index since May 2003.
The price of a barrel of WTI dropped to 26.19 dollars, which is equivalent to 62 cents per gallon (3.79 liters).
At the same time, according to the Bloomberg news agency, the price of class III milk, which is traded on futures exchange in Chicago, reached 13.74 dollars per 100 pounds (a pound equals 453.6 g), or 1.18 dollars per gallon, becoming almost twice as much compared to WTI, Interfax reports.
