Serbian first deputy prime minister, Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, the country’s deputy prime minister, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic and deputy prime minister, Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic held a meeting at which they discussed the visa policy of Serbia, the website of the Serbian government said.
An agreement was reached to continue the policy of simplification of the visa regime with as many countries as possible in order to improve bilateral political relations, attract foreign investment and intensify economic and tourist cooperation, according to the website.
In this regard, it was decided to initiate the procedure for abolishing visas with Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia for ordinary passport holders, and to initiate the abolition of visas with a certain group of countries for holders of diplomatic and official passports, Trend reports.
