Top adviser to Russian President on Eurasian integration Sergei Glazyev will be appointed minister for integration and macroeconomics at the Eurasian Economic Commission, a commission spokesman said. Glazyev will replace Tatiana Valovaya.
The appointment is planned to be confirmed formally at a summit of leaders of member states on October 1, Bloomberg reported.
Glazyev was named as an adviser in 2012.
