The late head of North Ossetia Tamerlan Aguzarov proved himself to be a wise politician and effective statesman, the president's envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District Sergei Melikov noted in his telegram to the leadership and people of the region.
"Tamerlan Kimovich was elected as the head of the republic of North Ossetia-Alania in September last year, but during this short period of working time he prove himself to be a wise politician and effective statesmen, a true patriot of Russia and his region,'' Interfax cites him as saying.
