The introduction of a tourist tax in Caucasian Mineral Waters will not affect the image of the resort, the presidential envoy in the North Caucasian Federal District Sergey Malikov said.
‘’Virtually, there are no image losses. There could have been reputational risks if taxation had touched on the privileged categories of citizens, but the taxation is designed for people who deliberately chose these costs,’’ Melikov said after a meeting of the working group at the embassy on the activities of the Kislovodsk therapeutic spa park, TASS reports.
