Sharm el-Sheikh airport has security problems

The airport in Sharm el-Sheikh has a big problem with security, its security personnel told the Associated Press agency on condition of anonymity.

Many of the scanners at the airport are not working, inspections of passengers are carried out carelessly and many things from the prohibited list can easily be taken onto aircraft, gazeta.ru reported.

The airport management has received many complaints about the non-working scanners, but it did not take any action in this regard.
