Shooting at Ankara office of Hurriyet Daily, media report

The metropolitan office of Turkey’s Hurriyet newspaper was attacked today when several shots were fired at the building, the news agency Cihan reports.

Police believe the shots came from a car that was passing the office, the agency reports. A gunman released 5-7 bullets. Seven sections of the double-glazed windows of the building, the facade of which is almost completely glazed, were shattered. None of the employees of the newspaper or bystanders were affected. Investigators are working at the crime cite, TASS reports.
