Silk Way Airlines has carried out the first cargo flight from Baku to Djibouti that served for the beginning of realization of a large program on regular weekly flights between the two countries, abc.az reports.
The airline reports that on behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev this flight delivered humanitarian aid to Djibouti, including food and drinking water with total weight of about 76 tons.
"The first flight delivered 30 tons of Azerbaijani goods manufacturers under brand "Made in Azerbaijan". In particular, products of the following Azerbaijani manufacturers has been sent: group of companies Gilan Holding, Gazelli Group, Azersun Holding and Aznar QSC, Az-Granata MMC, Delta Group, Şami Keci Fermasi MMC, Xurcun, etc," SWA said in a statement.
