According to the project manager of the South Azadegan gas field, Mahmoud Marashi, the Iranian authorities are negotiating with domestic and foreign companies regarding cooperation in the development of the largest oil field of South Azadegan in Iran.
He explained that in its initial stages the oil field could yield up to 320 thousand barrels a day, and then this figure may rise to 600 thousand barrels a day.
Marashi also added that six Iranian and foreign companies are ready to open 70 wells in South Azadegan.
