The head of the delegation of observers from the Russian Central Election Commission for the early parliamentary and local elections in Kazakhstan Siyabshah Shapiev said today that the voting process took place with high turnout and without serious violations.
Shapiev drew attention to the Kazakhstani’s responsible of attitude to the elections. The latest official data of the CEC of Kazakhstan underlined the turnout of 72%. "The turnout is high, the people’s mood is very festive, as today is Novruz Bayram, which is a public holiday,’’ Tass cites him as saying.
