The ski season kicked off officially in Sochi. The areas for freeride, sledges and tracks for beginners will be opened for the first time, the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratiev, said.
According to him, the New Year holidays resorts of Krasnaya Polyana will receive about 360 thousand visitors.
"And this figure is now limited only by the capabilities of the hotel fund," he added.
According to him, all 144 accommodation facilities in the mountain cluster are 100% full during the peak season.
