Weather forecasters warn about worsening of weather conditions.
The Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources of Azerbaijan reports that snowfall and strong north-western wind are expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula on January 28.
"The air temperature on the Absheron Peninsula will stand at up to -2-3°С, and around 0°С at night and +1-3°С in the day time in Baku," the MENR said, abc.az reports.
Cold weather conditions will keep until the end of the month.
