The damage caused by floods in Sochi totals about 200-300 million rubles, says Acting Governor of Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev, TASS reports.
About 750 houses were damaged. All people suffering from the floods will receive 10,000 rubles, people who lost part of property will get 50,000 rubles, those who lost all property will be paid 100,000 rubles.
The commission paying compensations will start work on June 27.
Sochi was hit by heavy rain pouring for two days. The district had 212mm of rain at a two-month norm of 104mm.
