Sochi beaches to open on May 1

In Sochi, from May 1, 23 beaches will open in all urban areas of the city, the head of the resort, Alexei Kopaygorodsky, informed.

In total, during the summer the total length of the beaches will reach 41 km, 188 beach areas will be arranged.

"From May to September, we are waiting for about 4.5 mln tourists in Sochi. The preparation of the city is carried out comprehensively, all specialized structures are involved. We must fully ensure safety and comfort for all Sochi residents and guests of the city," Kopaygorodsky said.
