Employees of the Italian Financial Guard (the power unit of the Ministry of Economy) arrested the property of Russian businessman Alisher Usmanov and TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, who fell under EU sanctions in connection with the events in Ukraine.
According to La Repubblica, Solovyov's two villas on Lake Como and Usmanov's villa in Sardinia were arrested.
Earlier in Italy, the yachts of Alexei Mordashov and Gennady Timchenko, as well as the villa in Tuscany owned by the former State Duma deputy, Oleg Savchenko, were confiscated.
