Some employees of Nairit chemical plant have their outstanding salaries for five months already paid, Armenia's Vice Premier Ararat Mirzoyan said.
He said on his Facebook page that the process of payment of outstanding salaries of 116 employees in charge of technical safety, which have been accumulated since January 1, 2018, is under way now.
According to him, about AMD 55 million (around $114,000) accumulated for five months are already paid, and now the interests subject to payment because of delay are being calculated.
"I express gratitude to these employees for voicing the problem and also to the emergency ministry and the finance ministry for their efforts to solve it," ARKA cited Mirzoyan as saying.
