The special forces of the United States, Great Britain and France participate secretly in the Syrian conflict, " Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today.
"As for the proxy war, it probably takes place on the side of the opposition, because there are special forces from the US on the ground, they do not deny it anymore. The special forces of Great Britain, France and other countries also participate in the war. So it's not so much a proxy, but a direct involvement in the conflict, " he said in an interview to the Kazakhstan Radio and Television Corporation, Interfax reports.
