Stalin monument could be restored in Gori

Gori may erect a monument to Joseph Stalin. The corresponding initiative was supported by the Mayor, Zurab Dzhirkvelishvili.

"Yesterday we had the opportunity to read the report of Gori's mayor and ask him questions. He said that the monument will be erected on the territory of Stalin's house-museum, and that he supports this," Sputnik quoted the leader of "United Communist Party of Georgia" Aleko Lursmanashvili as saying.
