In the near future, new patrol ships of the Azerbaijani State Border Service (SBS) will begin working at the border rivers of Azerbaijan. The head of the SBS, commander of the border troops of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, stated in an interview with the newspaper 'Azerbaijan'.
The fleet of patrol ships, which were constructed at a shipyard of SBS, which was put into operation last year, will recieve three new coastguard ships, he noted.
According to Guliyev, a unified electronic information system is also being created in SBS, Trend reports.
