United States has been speaking with Russia on Syria very frequently at top levels, US State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert said during a press briefing.
"I can tell you that high-level individuals from other departments in the U.S. Government have been speaking with the Russians on a variety of matters. What you mention in particular is not something that I can comment on because it’s not coming out of the State Department," Nauert said.
But the spokesperson added that others have been in conversations and discussions with the Russians on that.
