Steinmeier: protest against the prolongation of anti-Russian sanctions increases in EU

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said during his visit to Riga that the resistance to the prolongation of sanctions against Russia increases in the European Union.

"We recognize that the protest against the prolongation of sanctions against Russia increases. It will be more difficult to achieve a common position on this matter than a year ago,’’ RIA Novosti cites the head of foreign policy department as saying.
