NATO follows all the provisions of the Russia-NATO Founding Act and hopes for a constructive cooperation with Moscow, the Secretary General of the alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, said.
"We follow our international commitments and the Russia-NATO Founding Act. We are no longer in the state of Cold War," TASS cited his interview with the German Der Spiegel magazine as saying.
He said Russia is acting more and more self-confident and NATO will continue strengthening its security in the eastern borders. "We have developed detailed plans for the protection of our Eastern European partners," the secretary general added.
