North Ossetia will have a greenhouse complex for growing strawberries using hydroponics. It will be able to produce up to 3,000 tons of products annually. This is stated on the website of the Head of the republic.
The construction of the facility will be carried out by Tasty Berries of Alanya LLC. The Head of the region, Sergey Menyailo, and the General Director of the company, Anna Elbakidze, signed the corresponding agreement.
On the territory of almost 21 hectares, it is planned to build a greenhouse for seedlings, a loading and unloading complex with refrigeration equipment, an administrative building and a store. There will also be an information center for tour groups and a parking lot for 50 cars.
